Tonight I am going to Copenhagen to see my friend preform at a cafe. I just really think that its cool that she was able to book a show even though we have only been here for a month.
My life has been packed full of events. I have been going to parties and hanging out with friends. Oh and of course I have been doing homework. I have a 12 page paper due on Tuesday. Better get that done. My whole grade depends on that one paper for that class! I only have 4 pages wrote right now...
The other day a group of people went to a house party. It was ok. There was no good dance music but it was still fun. The person who invited us told is it was only a five minute walk from the train station. Turns out it was more like a half an hour. I wore my heals because I thought that there was not much walking. Oh well.
Then after the party we went on the half an hour walk once again and made it to the first train station to go home. When we got to the transfer train station we found out that it didn't come for 45 minutes. So we waited the 45 minutes to get to the central station. When we got to the central station we saw that the train didn't come for another 45 minutes. So we waited the 45 minutes and found out we had been waiting at the wrong station and that our train that we needed to take had already left! So we took ANOTHER train to a different station and took a taxi the rest of the way. Needless to say it took about 3-4 hours to get home. We partied less then taking the public transportation... Oh and by the way, we didn't get home till 7 am!
The public transportation sucks here. It costs a lot to get ANYWHERE and its not reliable. I miss my U-Pass at home. I definitely have learned that the U-Pass is one of the most valuable things that I own at home. Thank you UW....
Well better get going on my paper if I am going to go tonight. MORE TO COME!
